When to Book
Book your sessions early to ensure availability. Weekend dates book months in advance. Weeknight sessions have more flexibility.
Sessions are timed in the hours before sunset for the best light.
Why do you schedule
so close to sunrise and sunset?
The images you see in my portfolio are all photographed during the hours surrounding sunrise and sunset. This time of day has soft light which is flattering in portraiture.
During the summer months, evening sessions begin later in the day. Although this may be close to bedtime, most children enjoy time outside in an new environment. If you believe that your child will be too tired at this time of day consider scheduling a session in late spring or fall for an earlier start time.
Sessions begin 1.5-2.5 hrs before sunset or 1/2 hr after sunrise.

Digital Files
Yes, they are all yours! I include the digital copies of all images, in full resolution with personal printing rights. Every image is included even if the gallery is larger than the expected number of images I quote.
Candids/ Combinations
Your 1 hour session includes any combination of images you wish.
I love to mix formal photos with candids to keep the session fun and relaxed for all involved.
Family sessions are for one family only. Inquire for extended family session pricing.
What to
Wear
Coordinate your colors! No need to match identically.
Start with the hardest person to dress and pick the wardrobe around that outfit. Throw in neutrals with the color palate you have selected. Laying the outfits on the bed to visualize them together is a helpful trick. Don't forget about the accessories, shoes and socks. Scrambling
last minute is always stressful.

Reschedule
Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the sessions will be rescheduled to a future date. We will discuss reschedule dates at the time of cancellation.
*Clients may choose to reschedule a session due to wet grounds from rain earlier in the day (muddy children!) or unpredictable weather patterns (chance of rain.)
Session Location
Sessions are typically photographed at local conservation lands. I often suggest locations in Pepperell, Hollis, Groton, Dunstable, Townsend, and Shirley & Leominster.
I select locations dependent on blooms, foliage and other factors that create the backdrops of your session. If you have a vision for your session, let me know. I am happy to find a location that fits your description or try a location that you request.
Payment
Cash, check or credit card are all accepted forms of payment.
A $100 retainer is required to reserve your session date.
The remaining balance is due on the date of your photography session.

When will I see My Images
Your pictures will be edited and delivered in 2-3 weeks time. When the images are complete, you will receive an e-mail with a link to your web gallery. Here, you can download, print and share your images!
